So many people considered FEVER to be a disease, not actually true. it's usually a sign that the body is working to keep us healthy from an infection.

A fever is an higher body temperature above the normal.
The normal body temperature is slightly different for everyone, but it's within the range of 97°F-99°F (35-37°C)
A temperature of 100F(39°C) or higher is considered a fever.
The part of the brain called the hypothalamus controls the body temperature. in response to an infection, illness, or some other causes, the hypothalamus reset the body to a higher temperature, the increase in temperature is an act of the body to fighting such anomaly.
What Are The Symptoms Of Fever You Should Take Note Of?
- chills or shivering
- feeling weak
- sweating
- being irritable
- headache
- loosing appetite.
Fever generally is not dangerous, but consult the doctor when on the thermometer;
- Your body temperature exceed 103°F as an adult.
- The rectal temperature of a very young infant is 100.4°F or higher
- A child of 6-24 months has a temperature higher than 102°F for more than a day with other symptom such as cough or diarrhea.

How Can Fever Be Treated And Taken Care Of?
Depending on the age, the physical conditions, and the cause o it it, it may not or may require medical treatment.
There are many ways to lower a fever at home, this includes;
- Drinking a lot or water, juice or any clear liquids except alcohol.
- Takin g a lukewarm bath.
- Resting
- Keeping the body cool with light weight clothes or coverings.
