Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally.
All living organism is made up of cell, as cell is the structural unit of life.
And inside every single cell of the human body is an organelle known as nucleus. The nucleus controls the activities and behaviors of the cell, in that the nucleus contains genes, and the genes controls how the body develops and grows.
Literally, all cancer is caused when there's a fault in the division of the cell. The fault in this division occurs when there's an error in the gene.

Is Cancer A Genetic Disease?
Literally, not all cancer is caused by error in the gene. Some cancer are caused by unhealthy lifestyle ( such as unhealthy consumption of alcohol, smoking or the use of tobacco products, eating high fatty foods), exposure to radiations, infections.
However, most cancer is caused by gene faults. These gene faults is also referred to as mutation. The change in the sequence of the gene leads to an usual division rate of the cell, and these divided cells grows into a lump.
Is Cancer Hereditary?
Not truly correct, although parent passes their genes to their children, this does not automatically means their children will have cancer, however, if a faulty gene is inherited from a parent by a child, there's a probability that such child may develop cancer and there's also a probability such child may not develop it. But there will be an higher percentage of such a child having cancer during his/her lifetime.
How do I know if I have cancer?
If you are developing symptoms of cancer, check in with a doctor, so as to confirm whether or not it's a cancer. It's unwise to assume you have cancer when it has not been diagnosed by a specialist.
